SIX The Front Door
Welcome in

You finished the book. Here's the door.

The idea is simple: when real work happens — a delivery, a payment, a signed job — you keep your own proof of it, instead of renting it back from whoever's system it landed in. You don't need permission, an account, or a dime to start. You need one place to begin. This page points you at it.

So — what do you do?
Pick the one that fits you best. It opens the finder, which asks a couple more plain questions and hands you a first move you can make today, alone.
Not sure which fits? Open the finder and it walks you there.

When you're ready to make it permanent

The moves here work today, by hand, with nothing but your own time. When you want to make them automatic and keep the proof under your own lock, the full experience makes your keys on your machine — nothing here ever asks you to hand anything over.

The finder and the walkthroughs are live now, and they're honest end to end. A guided version — one that interviews you and fills in your first receipt for you — arrives with its book. Same move, less typing.

What this is · who's behind it

This is the front door to a body of work by Kenneth Mangum — a set of books and free tools about one plain idea: ordinary people and small businesses should keep their own proof of their own work.

The thesis in three sentences. Today, the record of what you did — the delivery, the payment, the weighing, the signed job — usually lives in someone else's system, and you pay, wait, or ask permission every time you need it back. You can start keeping your own signed copy instead, at the moment the work happens, for free, without anyone's say-so. Do it for a year and you have a track record a lender, an insurer, a buyer, or an heir will price in your favor.

Nothing on this page sells you anything or collects anything about you. The finder, the walkthroughs, and the starter are all free and yours to keep.

Everything here can be done free, yourself, today — no account, no payment. This page, the finder, and the toolkit it points to are yours.
