See It Work · S0 · The Capture Economy · Chapter 12

The metered mind

Everything up to Chapter 12 is Axis one — capture of the record. This is Axis two: capture of the intelligence. The same extraction logic that owns the ledger is learning to own something larger — the model, the ranking, and the attention meter. Control the record and you capture the value that flows past it. Control the intelligence layer and you capture the value that flows through the mind.

Capture at the record layer compounds through money. Capture at the intelligence layer compounds through mind — through what a rising generation can see, know, and decide. That is faster and deeper than any ledger ever managed. And the honesty rail matters more here than anywhere: the target is position and unaccountable ownership of the intelligence layer, never capability and never the people who do real work building it.
Chapter 12 · the second axisready

The second axis and its honest answer, laid out step by step:

Axis Two — The Intelligence Layer
axis_2capture at the intelligence layer — the model, the ranking, the attention meter
attentionaggregated, priced, sold back to you as your feed
behavioryour choices train the model that then meters you
ingested_content$10–14B/yr, two large players [DIRECTIONAL/contested; Columbia/Brattle counterfactual]
not_the_targetcapability & labor stay valuable — position is the target
sovereign_answerserves without retaining · signed receipts · human-gated — runs today at single-node scale
designed_towardfederation of many nodes — the roadmap, not yet at scale

The content-ingestion counterfactual and the AI-concentration evidence are public and cited in the companion documents; the sovereign, receipted, human-gated system is demonstrable at six-sov.com. What runs is proof enough of the principle; what is still being built is named as such.

For the technical reader — the command, and how to verify it yourself
# one line · you do not need to run this
run one real task on intelligence you control
compare what it retains with your current tools; require a receipt for each material action
# -> a model that serves without banking your behavior — single-node today, federation designed-toward

Full step-by-step is in Appendix RX: Hands-On Demonstrations in the book.
